“Erin is wonderful! At 9 months old, my daughter needed to be nursed to sleep every night (this could sometimes take an hour) and was waking 2-3 times per night needing to be nursed back to sleep. I was exhausted and my husband and I had no time together in the evenings. Erin gave clear instructions but also took into account our circumstances. She realizes that there is not a one size fits all solution. It was tough but working with Erin gave us the confidence to get us all the sleep we needed! Our daughter now goes down in her crib wide awake and almost always sleeps through the night. If she does wake, she will get herself back to sleep within a minute or two. “I cannot stop telling everyone about Erin Lawyer and her incredible sleep training!! After my sixth child, I was only sleeping in 45 to 90 minute increments most nights for eleven months. To say I was exhausted was an understatement. I couldn’t function; I was irritable and feeling beyond desperate. I saw someone mention how wonderful she was and decided it was worth a try… After 11 months of consistently waking through the night, my son was sleeping through the night by the third day! I had promised Erin that my child (and myself) would be her toughest clients. I thought there was no way he would be able to sleep (remember he was my sixth so this was not my first rodeo), and I was adamant with Erin that I could not stand to let my baby cry. She was so patient and understanding! She walked me through each step and really encouraged me. “I came across Chasing Dreams while searching Facebook groups (after trying Pinterest and Google) looking for a way to get my 4 month old to sleep more than 2 hours at a time at night. I was back to work and he was still nursing every 2 hours day and night. The first night with Erin I was able to get him down to one feeding and by the second night he stopped nursing at night all together on his own. Most importantly he learned self soothing skills and doesn’t use the binky during the day because he can soothe himself awake or asleep. Although naps took a couple weeks to come together they much improved from 20 min to 45 min within a week and now a month later they are up to 2 hours. “I contacted Erin when my son was 8 months old. He had been waking every 30 min to an hour and a half ALL NIGHT LONG! I was at my wits end and didn’t know what to do. After a call with Erin I felt confident but still shaken of my son had it in him to sleep well. When she told me he would be sleeping through the night in 2 weeks I thought she was crazy, but let it behold night one he slept 12 hours waking once to nurse! The first week he only woke once to eat in a 12 hour night sleep, and by the second week he was sleeping 12 hours without waking including his 3 hour naps a day. “It’s been a few weeks since we’ve completed our sleep training with Erin. To be honest, it’s taken me so long to write a review because my husband and I have been catching up on months and months of missed dinners and tv shows now that our son is consistently sleeping 12 hours a night. And PUTTING HIMSELF TO SLEEP on top of that. I still feel like I’m dreaming sometimes because I never thought we’d be here. Erin is a true godsend. We went from waking every 20-30 minutes until eventually being held to sleep for the night, to putting himself to sleep in his crib for 11+hours, in just a few nights. Naps were the same way. Our house was devoted to his sleep because we had to hold him in the living room to nap each day so nobody could come over and we couldn’t leave((parenting is hard!)) he now naps in his crib and truly looks forward to it. “I can’t even put into words what a necessary investment this has been for our whole family’s health and wellness. We are all sleeping better and mom and dad are even getting time together for date night more often! “I can’t say enough good things about Erin! My husband and I were at a breaking point with our son, who is 8. I came across Erin through a mutual group and she had a Q&A session. It seemed like a higher being put her in our path because that same day after speaking with our pediatrician we were contemplating antidepressants 😬. We took advantage of the free 15 min call and we were able to go from sleeping with ALL lights on to just the bathroom light. Our sons anxiety continued to increase and the constant up and down during the nights were exhausting for us all. I will say I was skeptical at first. I wasn’t sure if she could help us. A lot of reviews I read were for babies and toddlers. After much thought regarding price we decided that the cost of this would be much more beneficial than any adverse reactions with antidepressants in a young child. (please note I am not against treatment if that is what is needed, this just was not the avenue we wanted to take at this time.) We took the leap of faith and contacted Erin to move forward. I must say it was the best decision we made. My husband and I have “our” time back, our son went to maybe 4-6 hours of sleep to 9-10 hours a night and staying in his room ALL night. By night 3 he was sleeping with the door shut, lights off and a dim night light. Bedtime is manageable, he knows what to expect. As for his anxiety, I believe it was related to lack of sleep, with sleep his anxiety and fears of being “alone” are gone. Like I said at the beginning I can’t say enough good things. I will say this if you are on the fence and not sure if this is the real deal. IT IS!!!! We were able to accomplish all our goals by emails. I am still amazed at the transformation that was made. “Erin saved my life! My daughter was waking every 30 minutes or so for more than a year. I was worn out and completely drained. Erin was so thorough in her explanations and so patient through the entire process. She even encouraged me to get my own sleep issues under control!
